Hello, one and all from 08S501
As GP rep, uh.. Yes, it is PARTLY my fault for not buying Zenith ('cos I didn't know and Mr. Hing did not exactly tell me). Anyways, please remember to check out the online resources for the GP paper if you think it will help you.
I originally wanted to post it on the IVLE discussion forum but then, I think more people visit this blog than IVLE.
And if you're too lazy to go to IVLE, I've put up the links in this post:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/worldservice/programmes/globalisation/
I've already clicked the link to this one and I must say that it is incredibly informative about Businesses and how they thrive in developing countries (like Ghana) --> So, you could link this poverty --> Solutions to Poverty (esp in Africa). Super-duper interesting (:
And since we're on the subject of poverty, there's also this other link that I want to share with the class:
http://www.templeton.org/questions/africa/pdfs/bq_africa.pdf
The pdf file is based on "Will Money Solve Africa's Development Problems?" and it shows 2 sides to the coin, so I thought that I should share this with the class 'cos I think it's helpful for GP.
AND, if you have some difficulties with writing essays and what not, I seriously recommend this writing guide which I thought was quite cool, but read it at your own leisure lah (:

All the best for GP on Monday.
