Meridian JC GP assignment
You will be assigned into 3 groups. Each of this groups have different sets of tasks to fulfil. Here are the different tasks allocated to the different groups:

Group 1 in PINK
· Submit a total of 4 Essays to my email: meridianjcgp@gmail.com
· Make a collection of 1 article a week. Try to get review articles from Magazines, or newspaper rather than factual ones. Total Expected = at least 8 articles
· Please go to www.ted.com and choose 3 videos to watch. Give a short Summary + Commentary for each of the videos you have decided to watch. (100 words) Please feel free to watch more videos if you want.

Group 2

· Choose any of the following topics and prepare a 10-slide ppt presentation on the broad topic OR a specific aspect of the topic:
Environmental Issues
Racism
Sexism
Science vs Religion
Globalisation

hey guys. there will probably be a CIP program on the first three fridays of January 2009. so try to make yourself available on those three days. we're gonna be sports facilitators/ games IC i think. for more information, please ask chunkang. in addition, do check up the ISIS portal for more CIP programs.

hey ppl:

1. A message courtesy of Mr Hing, please Please PLEASE remember to:
(i) hand in your results slip for those who have not. (Eunice & Ashraf, you guys are guilty of it) you can put it in mr hing's pigeon hole, or pass it to him personally (i.e. if you see him).
(ii) DO YOUR TRAVEL DECLARATION!! there were emails sent to you by the school (i think) and i even sent sms to each group to pass down the message!! PLEASE do it, it isnt that difficult.

2. shall we cancel off the outing to settler's cafe tmr? firstly, not everyone wants to go. secondly, mr hing wants to come along (i think, inferred from what he said today) but he cant make it tmr. so shall we forgo it? anyway it was in such a hurry and we didnt really plan.

p.s. to mr hing: i dont think we will be celebrating nov&dec birthdays for now. but you can plan one if you want to. (& if you do, pls treat:D the classfund is broke!)

HELLO HELLO! pizza was great, wasn't it?! =) the trip there was even better. let's take a look at the scandals in classssssss!

MR HING WE DID SAVE ONE PIECE FOR YOU! but wan er ate it up HAHAHA!

and yay, OP is finally over and it's a great relief! and i'm especially grateful to my PW group for putting up a great presentation. of course, the whole class did really great! and every group is really very very united. this is evident from diana and haziq bickering with each other, ken running away from nicole, waner's whole group helping each other with volume and stuffs, and my group rehearsing together for quite a number of times! so yup, it's finally over and do remember to thank your PW group for all their efforts ok! =)

OH YAR. movie trip is cancelled ok! 'cause some people can't turn up and let's go next week after the lectures ok! maybe mr hing will be more free 'cause PW will end by then and he can join us!
